Hotel collapse in Abuja

 A four-storey building attached to the Westbrook Hotel in the Garki area of the Federal Capital Territory collapsed on Monday night, July 1.

 
Many people were believed to be trapped in the rubble. 
 
Eyewitnesses claim some trapped persons were pulled out from the debris and taken to the hospital.

An X user by the name Nnamdi Onu has suggested that proper approvals be given to the right bodies before construction and that such incident could have been averted if this was done
