Portugal through to the quarter finals, despite Ronaldo's penalty miss

 

Ronaldo's Portugal, are through to the quarter finals, despite Ronaldo missing a penalty, during the penalty shoot out.

Slovakia held one time euro winners, through normal 90mins. The game further went into extra time,with both sides unable to find the back of the net.

30mins of extra time led to the penalty shootout,in which Ronaldo,the 5 time balloon D'or missed.

However,the hero of the night was the Portuguese goal keeper, diogo Costa. He became the first goal keeper in the Euros to save these penalties.
